Aria Hokm 3.0

Hokm is a strategic card game originating from Persia that requires four players and a standard 52-card deck. Players form two teams and sit opposite each other to begin the game. The game follows the below rules:

• Cards in Hokm are ranked in the following order: Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2.
• The card suits are Heart, Spade, Club, and Diamond.
• In the traditional game format encompassing 13 rounds, the total points at stake are 100; in the shorter format of 5 rounds, only 20 points are on offer.

At the outset of each game, the King or Queen (easily identifiable by the crown symbol) is selected at random. This player receives the first five cards and has the prerogative to declare the trump suit (known as Hokm) for that round.

• The designated King or Queen initiates gameplay by playing a card.
• The other participants then each play a card in a counterclockwise manner.
• Players are required to follow suit if possible; if they are unable to, they may play a trump card or any other card of their choosing.
• The player with the highest-ranking card wins the small round and leads in starting the subsequent round.

A big round continues until one team emerges victorious in seven small rounds. Upon a win by the King's or Queen's team, their reign continues; however, if defeated, the player to the left of the victorious team's King or Queen assumes leadership for the next round.
